Come and help us celebrate International Women's Day with an all female line up at Malted Shake with this Roots Sister's Special! Bringing you rising new stars of the Roots Music scene LJ Sharpe & the Monte Carlos and Jenny Lee & Her Band.
Serving punchy RnB and sweet sultry soul, LJ and her Monte Carlos are sure to get your hips’a’twisting with a smooth blend of both originals and obscure picks.
Jenny Lee aims to honour the great female rock n roll and country artists of the 1950s. Playing mostly Wanda Jackson but with the odd female rock n roll legend thrown in the set list, Jenny Lee and her band aim to create the most authentic sound bringing the past into the present.
Spinning the wax we have stellar DJ Jezebal on the decks.
